Mercedes-Benz is recalling its GLE and ML SUV models, due to a potential problem with a battery cable.
The cable may be incorrectly positioned, and in certain circumstances it may contact the windscreen wiper-arm.
Should this occur, the windscreen wiper motor may be electrically shorted causing a failure of the wiper system, posing a hazard during inclement weather.
The offending vehicles were sold between February and October of this year, and a total of 879 will be targeted by the recall in Australia.
Suzuki is recalling certain GSX-S1000 and GSX-R1000A motorcycle models, due to a potential problem with the front brakes.
The brake calliper may develop a leak, causing brake fluid to escape onto the front wheel. This could result in a reduced front braking capacity.
A list of various Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) has been targeted for the recall.
Mercedes-Benz and Suzuki will attempt to contact affected owners shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about the latest round of recalls should contact their local dealer.
