Mazda reveals two MX-5 specials for Tokyo Auto Salon
Another pair of special Mazda MX-5 show cars have been revealed ahead of their debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January.
First of the two roadsters is the MX-5 RF Custom Style (above), which appears to be based on the MX-5 RF RS that is already on sale in Japan.
Compared to the model on which it's based, the MX-5 RF Custom Style features a black extensions for the front splitter and side skirts, along with adjustable suspension, a strut tower brace up front, sway bar, and new sports exhaust tips.
The second car is dubbed the MX-5 Classic Red, painted in the 'Classic Red' which was one of three colours offered with the original 1990 version.
With the exception of the special colour, the MX-5 Classic Red is unchanged from the regular MX-5 on which it is based.
