UPDATE: The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce is coming to Australia. Read on...
The covers have come off Lamborghini’s latest supercar at the Geneva Motor Show, revealing a new powered-up and lightened version of the Aventador.
Called the LP750-4 SuperVeloce, the new model will draw 750 PS (552kW) and 690Nm from its naturally-aspirated V12 engine - up 37kW on the ‘regular’ Aventador.
A diet resulting in a greater percentage of carbon-fibre means the LP750-4 weighs 50kg less than the standard model at 1523kg, and a power-to-weight ratio of 2.03kg per PS.
If that sounds like something you'd like to own, there's good news for local fans with confirmation the LP750-4 SV will be available in Australia - priced from a cool $882,650 plus on-road costs.
Carbon-fibre is mixed with lightweight aluminium in the monocoque construction, and more carbon-fibre can be found in the door panels, rear wing and fixed air intakes.
