Jaguar F-Type coupe spied testing at Nurburgring
The Jaguar F-Type coupe has been spied testing at Germany's Nurburging as development on the fixed-lid Cat continues.
Snapped by CarAdvice's spy photographers doing several quick laps of the famous circuit, the Jaguar F-Type coupe is wearing identical camouflage to when it was first seen back in May.
The latest images show the car with different large-diameter black wheels and its deployable rear spoiler raised.
The brakes appear to be the same size as previously seen and the quad-pipe exhaust suggests it’s powered by the 364kW/625Nm supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine used in the flagship F-Type V8 S roadster.
The Jaguar F-Type coupe is expected to be offered with the same two supercharged V6 powerplants available for the drop-top, along with the V8. More aggressive R and R-S versions are also likely to join the line-up once the car is launched, thought to be in 2014.
While pricing is yet to be confirmed, the Jaguar F-Type coupe could well undercut its roadster sibling, which launches locally in August starting at $139,000.
