Honda’s next-generation CR-V SUV could be notably larger than the current model, according to reports out of the UK.
Speaking with Autocar, Honda UK’s Leon Brannan said the next CR-V would be both larger and offer more premium features.
Expected to arrive in 2017, a larger CR-V - reading between the lines of Mr Brannan's comments - would likely mean a standard seven-seat layout and standard all-wheel-drive, at least in the UK market.
The reason for the CR-V's size-boost is to put some additional distance between it and the smaller HR-V SUV.
Honda also believes standard AWD could attract buyers away from the Volvo XC60 and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
