Ford Focus ST: 2013 SEMA concepts previewed
Four customised Ford Focus ST hot-hatches have been previewed ahead of next month's SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The four new Ford performance hatches are part of a 57-car line-up the company is bringing to this year's show.
The Focus ST by PM Lifestyle gets a Banks Power straight-shot water methanol injection system, along with 19-inch wheels from Rotiform, GT Radial Champiro tyres, Sparco seats and afive-point Schroth Racing harness.
PM also worked with Infinite Auto Design on the Focus, adding a custom harness bar, carbonfibre exterior accents and a custom paint job from Axalta.
The chassis gets new coilovers, sway bars and brake system from Wilwood.
The Green Filter USA Ford Focus ST uses classic Team Lotus colours as a tribute to Ford’s involvement in motorsports, highlighting the Lotus-Ford that won the 1965 Indy 500.
As well as visual upgrades, this Focus ST gets a high-performance air filter with custom intake and exhaust. The suspension is by Ground Force to provide “Lotus-like handling characteristics”.
The 18-inch American Racing wheels are shod with Falken tyres.
The DRAGG (Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti) takes on a crime-fighting role. This ST gets a light bar and a custom interior rifle rack, Boria-designed cat-black exhaust, 4.5-inch polished stainless steel exhaust tips and Motegi racing wheels.
The final Focus ST concept scores a Gulf Oil livery from Axalta with flared guards from DTM Autobody. The suspension is by KW while Baer has provided the brakes. The Gulf Racing Focus also gets dual-side exhausts and an intercooler kit by Vortech. Forgestar19-inch alloy wheels and Falken tyres provide the finishing touches.
