Audi has three new SUVs - the Q4, Q6 and Q8 - plus three new electric cars in the pipeline as its new model onslaught unfolds over the next few years.
Opening the batting next year will be the all-new Audi Q6 SUV while the Q4 compact SUV will debut in 2019.
Audi has previously shown the Q6 (top of page) as a concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015. While it will employ petrol and diesel engines, speculation has the Q6 debuting an updated e-tron electric power unit capable of a 500km range between battery recharges.
Britain’s Autocar claims the Q4 - a rival for BMW X2 and Mercedes-Benz GLA - will follow the lead of the Audi TT Offroad concept which was first shown at the Beijing Motor Show in 2014.
