Amazing collection of classic automotive books and brochures to go under the hammer

A stunning collection of automotive books, brochures and service manuals is currently up for auction, as a pair of West Australian collectors clean out their stores.

Running online until 10 October 2021 at Donington Auctions, the collection includes pieces from all around the globe, and covers everything from the 1986 BMW E28 sales brochure (which was partly shot in Melbourne) to a Swiss printing of the Monteverdi High Speed 375S and 400SS sales pamphlet from the late 1960s.

There is even a 1956 edition of a Porsche 356A Workshop Manual up for grabs.

Reserve prices are quite low, and with 616 lots there is bound to be something to tickle your fancy.

You'll be bidding against me for a late 1980s Koenig Specials tuning brochure, and I dare say you will need to bring your A-game to score a very rare Holden Hurricane promotional brochure from 1970.
