Saab's new 9-3 small car, cancelled in the lead-up to the brand's wind-down, has surfaced online once again.
Revealed for the first time in a handful of blurry leaked images, this latest shot reveals the finished 9-3 in Aero trim, on display for China's Pang Da & Youngman, one of the brand's suitors.
According to well-connected enthusiast site SaabsUnited.com, the 9-3 we see here would have debuted at last year's Geneva Motor Show if funding for Saab's future could be secured in time.
In the end, it couldn't. The 9-3 was boxed away and the Saab brand eventually sold off to the National Electric Vehicles Sweden consortium.
The new 9-3 was expected to offer a choice of BMW-sourced engines, including the familiar 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a pair of 2.0 litre petrol and diesel units.
While Saab continues as a brand and future production is planned, we may never see this 9-3 in showrooms.
NEVS has already confirmed it plans to build new models off the old 9-3's platform in the short term, with brand-new models to arrive on Saab's still unused Phoenix platform in the future.
