2024 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0X special edition price announced for Australia

The Subaru Crosstrek has gained a special edition one level up from the base model, priced from about $40,000 drive-away.

A limited-edition variant of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek small SUV has been added in Australia to split the $3500 price gap between the two previous cheapest model grades.

Priced from $36,990 plus on-road costs, the 2.0X Special Edition is based on the entry-level, $2000-cheaper 2.0L but adds some features from Subaru’s middle-of-the-range Crosstrek 2.0R, which costs $1500 more.

Compared to the 2.0L, the 2.0X gains 18-inch alloy wheels (replacing 17s), auto-levelling for the LED headlights, LED front fog lights, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear shifter, ‘premium’ cloth seat trim, and heated front seats.

Also added are dark grey roof rails, an X-Mode off-road drive select system, and a ‘door under garnish’.

Features shared with the 2.0L include an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dusk-sensing LED headlights, six speakers, keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, and a suite of advanced safety technology.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0X is on sale now in “limited volume”, according to Subaru Australia.
