2024 Lexus LX price: $5500 hike as new seven-seat variants added
A seven-seat option has been added to the Lexus LX Sports Luxury, as prices rise across the luxury off-road SUV range.
Lexus Australia has increased prices across its 2024 Lexus LX luxury off-road SUV range, while also introducing new seven-seat versions of the Sports Luxury trim.
Prices are up $5500 across the range, with the diesel-powered LX500d now positioned at $157,061 before on-road costs, the five-seat Sports Luxury trim from $174,061 before on-road costs, and the F Sport positioned at $180,061 before on-road costs.
Meanwhile the petrol-powered Lexus LX600 is now priced from $160,561, the Sports Luxury moves to $177,561, the F Sport is $183,561 and the four-seat Ultra Luxury sits at $219,061 – all before on-road costs such as stamp duty and 'dealer delivery' fees.
The entry-level LX500d and LX600 grades were previously the only variants available with a third row of seating, but the Sports Luxury now gains that option for a $2600 and $3800 surcharge in diesel and petrol forms respectively.
The seven-seat Sports Luxury loses the tonneau parcel shelf in LX600 guise, soft-close doors, and a secondary 30-litre fuel tank in LX500d trim, compared to the five-seater.
However, Sports Luxury seven-seaters gain a power-folding third row, curtain airbag protection for passengers six and seven, and USB-C outlets for the rear-most passengers.
Sports Luxury standard equipment is otherwise retained in the seven-seat version, with heated and cooled front and second-row outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, cooled centre console box, leather-accented seats, second-row entertainment system, wood inlays for the centre console and doors, and a fingerprint reader on the engine start button.
LX500d models are powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6 engine producing 227kW/700Nm, while the LX600 makes use of a 305kW/650Nm 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6.
Both engines power all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, with low-range capabilities and a 3500kg braked towing capacity.
