2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato: First official photos

The 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato has been revealed overnight, ahead of its public debut and full details at the end of this month.

The Huracan Sterrato is the final iteration of Lamborghini's junior V10 supercar before it is due to be replaced in 2024 – and it's the Italian car maker's final solely petrol-powered model, before its entire range adopts hybrid technology by the end of 2024.

Previous Lamborghini Huracan special editions have had an on-road focus, the Sterrato is designed for mild off-road use, with an increased ride height, all-terrain tyres and bold wheel-arch flares.

Upgrades include a new front bumper with a metal 'bash plate' and dual LED driving lights, bolt-on matte black wheel-arch extensions, unique 19-inch wheels (down from 20s on the standard car), and Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tyres.

The special edition sports car sits higher than the regular Lamborghini Huracan, and also comes with new side skirts, black roof bars, a top-mounted air intake to feed the engine, and another skid plate-like detail on the rear bumper.

Lamborghini is yet to announce technical specifications for the Huracan Sterrato, however it has confirmed V10 power – the 5.2-litre engine from the rest of the Huracan range – and all-wheel drive, for optimal traction on loose surfaces.

No performance figures have been disclosed, however it's likely to match the 470kW/600Nm outputs of all other all-wheel-drive Huracans still on sale.

Expect a 0-100km/h acceleration time on tarmac of roughly three seconds – if slightly slower on an Evo's 2.9 seconds, due to the Sterrato's unique all-terrain, off-road-suitable tyres, and additional weight from its body modifications.

The 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato will be detailed further at the Art Basel show in Miami on November 30, Lamborghini says.
