2021 Kia new cars
Kia says 2020 sales scaled back by just under 10 per cent during 2020, in a year where no one quite knew what was in store for the market.
While the new Sorento added some much needed fresh metal to showrooms, there's more to come. Kia has confirmed that alongside the current diesel and incoming V6 petrol models, petrol-electric hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions will also join the range.
Running slightly behind schedule, the Stonic light SUV is set to fill out the range, acting as a Rio-based 'light' SUV to slot in beneath the Seltos. Originally planned for a late 2020 launch, but delayed due to shipping hold-ups, the Stonic is set to launch in February 2021.
Already the clear leader in its segment, Kia will renew its people mover superstar with an all new Carnival set to arrive in the first weeks of 2021. Adopting a new, quasi-SUV styling language, and with V6 petrol and four-cylinder diesel engines.
