Mazda Australia has released full retail pricing for its incoming all-new CX-9, with the large SUV to start at $42,490 for the entry-spec CX-9 Sport front-wheel drive, and top out at $63,390 for the flagship CX-9 Azami all-wheel drive.
Though slightly more expensive at the bottom end than its main rival the Toyota Kluger, higher-grade CX-9s easily best the Toyota for value with the range-topping Kluger Grande AWD priced at $68,330.
“The Brand-New Mazda CX-9’s value proposition is a strong one,” said Mazda Australia marketing director Alastair Doak.
“Starting from $42,490 plus on roads, each grade offers something unique, we expect Brand-New Mazda CX-9 will appeal to a broad buyer group.
“When you consider the seven-seater SUV options available on the market, this is affordable luxury.
