Jeep has issued a recall for 62 of its 2016 model-year Grand Cherokees for a fuel leak that could pose a fire hazard.
The affected models may have a damaged fuel rail crossover tube as a result of a manufacturing fault.
If the condition occurs, the fuel rail crossover tube could leak fuel and cause a fire in the engine bay.
A VIN list for the recalled vehicles can be viewed here.
Owners of the affected Grand Cherokees will be notified by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia and are encouraged to present their vehicle to their local Jeep dealer who will inspect and repair the fuel rail crossover tube if necessary.
