Following this morning's new image and video for the 2014 Elite, Lotus has today unleashed a series of new images for another of its comeback cars, the 2013 Lotus Esprit.
Revealed as part of a six-car onslaught at this month's Paris Auto Show, the unveiling of the new Esprit follows months of rumours, reports and spy photos.
Drawing power from a 462kW supercharged version of the Lexus IS F's 5.0 litre V8, sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it's fair to say the wait has been worthwhile.
Lotus promises a 0-100km/h sprint of under 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 330km/h - and while specific details have yet to be revealed, Lotus also plans to offer a hybrid system as an optional extra.
Price? Australian details remain unknown, but Lotus says the new Esprit will cost around £110,000 (in the neighbourhood of AU$170,000) when it debuts in 2013.
