Honda has announced a series of small updates for the 2012 Honda Accord Euro, with a European-market debut set for April.
The updates including exterior styling and interior trim tweaks, along with a number of efficiency improvements for the Accord Euro's diesel engine, not offered in Australia.
On the outside, the updated Accord Euro gets a subtly revised grille and a restyled front bumper, while the headlights get a restyled internal design and clear indicator lenses.
The rear sees the addition of a chrome strip along the top of the numberplate recess, and a red finish to the reversing and indicator lenses.
Interior updates are limited to new trim materials and a metal-look finish to the steering wheel, gear shifter, parking brake lever and dashboard.
The cabin also benefits from improved sound insulation, including thickened rear window glass.
Pegged as one of the benchmarks in the medium car segment, the updated Accord Euro's suspension setup also gains revised dampers for improved handling.
Australia
Speaking with TMR, Honda Australia's Mark Higgins confirmed that updates to the local Accord Euro will arrive in the second half of 2011.
