G'day Mitch,

Sorry for the dry reference to the DTi-S' ignition.

We were noting that it is a traditional key ignition setup, and it works perfectly well.

In short, don't hold it against the Civic!

For the record, petrol VTi-L and VTi-LN Civic Hatches score a keyless (push-button)ignition setup, with proximity entry.

G'day James,

Good point re the Hennessey Venom GT, but we had to draw the line somewhere.

Hennessey is more of an aftermarket tuner than a carmaker (so far), and uses the Lotus Exige for much of the Venom GT's construction.

There's a vast number of similar low-volume producers about, so we chose to focus on the key players.

We do have full respect for the Venom GT's recent 13.63 second 0-300km/h Guinness World Record though!

G'day Falcodore,

Thanks for pointing out the Greg Murphy update, that clearly slipped under our radar...

However, your other points are not entirely correct.

V8 Supercars of the past shared several control chassis components, but 2013 is the first season where they will share an entire control chassis.

With James Courtney, he did indeed race for DJR in 2009 and 2010, but he previously drove a Jeld Wen-backed SBR car between 2006-2008.

Thanks for the input as always though!
