. We looked it up on of the service guides and over a 10 year period it was:
Hyundai Elantra - $4908
Honda Civic - $6155
Kia Cerato - $6369!

Cranston got it right, the other dealers were more than happy to help and offered discounts.
As our rotten luck would have it the Elantra Elite we wanted was sold the day before but they offered an extra 1k off an already discounted Active for us.
The Honda salesman said he didn't have to offer a discount as "The cars sell themselves".

We were going to buy a new VTi-L, one of the Japanese made ones. We really liked the comfort and finish of the Civic.
Sadly our Honda dealer in Coffs Harbour wouldn't budge one cent from the RRP so we had to pass. Went to Hyundai, Kia and Toyota and they couldn't do enough to help us and negotiate a price!
