Volkswagen Australia Details Vehicles Affected By Emissions Scandal

Volkswagen Australia has confirmed which model lines are affected by the emissions-cheat scandal dubbed "dieselgate", revealing 77,149 cars sold in Australia by Volkswagen and Skoda are equipped with suspect engine management software.

The list covers models equipped with 1.6 and 2.0 litre versions of VW's EA189 diesel engine, and stretches as far back as 2008. 

A significant portion of Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial and Skoda products are involved - including some of the group's most popular models like the Golf and Tiguan.
