Volkswagen Australia Adds Capped Price Servicing To Commercial Range

Volkswagen Australia has boosted the appeal of its light-commercial range this week with the launch of a new capped-price servicing programme. 

The news follows the introduction of capped-price servicing to Volkswagen's passenger vehicle range last month, ranging from the tiny Up! hatch to the large Touareg SUV. 

Now extending to its full commercial vehicle range, the program is available to models registered from January 1 2013. 

The scheme offers coverage for up to six years or 90,000km on all commercial models except for the Crafter, which is covered to 180,000km. 

A scheduled service under the program will include new engine oil, filters and sump plug washer, along with replacement of air filter at 45,000 and 90,000km, and spark plugs every 60,000km.

Earlier this year, Renault Australia announced a wide-ranging capped-price service program of its own, which also covers its commercial vehicle family.
