UPDATE: official images released.

Volkswagen has pulled the covers from what can only be described as the carmaker's wildest Golf concept since 2007's bonkers GTI W12-650

Bound for this week's GTI Treffen at Austria's Lake Wörthersee, the Design Vision GTI concept is a genuine powerhaus, driven by a twin-turbo petrol V6.

Strapped to a DSG transmission and Volkswagen's all-wheel-drive system, the big turbo engine promises a huge 375kW and 560Nm of torque.
