TVR Planning Two Models For A 2015 Comeback, New Owner Promises

TVR’s new boss, Les Edgar, has revealed that the back-to-British carmaker is planning two models for a 2015 return to the market.

Speaking with Britian’s Autocar, Mr Edgar didn’t rule out new versions of previous TVR models – such as the Sagaris – but said that all-new models were more likely at this stage, even though some could wear existing TVR names.

“We could do both, and we haven’t made a final decision yet,” Mr Edgar said.

“If we wanted, we could probably have a new edition of the old Sagaris on the market in about a year. But I think it’s more likely we’ll choose to build all-new TVRs, and that’ll probably take us twice as long.”
