US-based Trion SuperCars has scheduled a start-date for production of its ‘world-beating’ Nemesis model in January 2016.

With a claimed 1492kW (2000 BHP) on tap, the Nemesis will have the world’s best hypercars in its sights with a predicted 0-100km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed beyond 432km/h (270 MPH).

Figures like these could give the Nemesis the edge over the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and possibly even Koenigsegg’s One:1, but the top step of the hypercar podium isn’t guaranteed for Trion.

Also in the pipeline with a similar production schedule is Bugatti’s Veyron replacement - rumoured to be called “Chiron” - with a predicted 0-100km/h as low as 2.3 seconds.
