Toyota has held onto its position as the top-ranked automotive marque in the annual Brandz Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands survey, with luxury automakers BMW and Mercedes-Benz trailing behind the Japanese auto giant.
Brandz assessed Toyota total brand value at US$29.6 million, a jump of 21 percent against last year's result. BMW was valued at $25.7 million, but only logged a 7 percent increase in overall brand value.
