Subaru’s new WRX arsenal in Australia is now complete, with the arrival of the 2014 WRX STI this week.

While motivation still comes from the proven EJ25 2.5 litre four-cylinder turbocharged ‘Boxer’ engine, power has risen 6kW to 227kW while torque has dropped 14Nm to 393Nm.

The big news for the new STI is the price; starting from $49,990 plus on-roads, which marks a $10,000 price-cut over the outgoing model.

Toyota’s 2015 Camry for Australia was previewed this week, when the new-look model was unveiled at the New York Auto Show.

Styling certainly challenges the Camry ‘convention’, making true on Toyota’s promise to ignore "expectations of a mid-cycle model change".

Toyota previously confirmed that the updated Camry will be the last to be built at its Altona plant in Melbourne, which is scheduled to close in 2017.
