Nissan unveiled its replacement for the Dualis badge this week, with official photos and specs of the new Qashqai.

The Qashqai will bring four engine options when it arrives in local showrooms next year, all of them turbocharged.

Shifting to the global Qashqai badge has certainly sparked debate, but Nissan Australia thinks it’s a good move.


The Lexus RC Coupe was unveiled this week, ahead of its appearance at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month.

Both 2.5 litre petrol-electric hybrid and 3.5 litre V6 engines will be available in the RC, with reports suggesting a new 2.0 litre turbocharged engine could also join the line-up.

Toyota finally confirmed the rumoured 2.0 litre turbocharged unit for Lexus this week, with the LF-NX crossover concept being the first car to be fitted with the new engine.
