The first of Lexus’ new NX SUV models arrived in Australia this week, with the 300h variant now in local showrooms.

Available for now in four models with both two- and all-wheel-drive, the NX 300h is priced between $55,000 and $75,000; plus on-roads.

All are powered by a 2.5 litre petrol-hybrid set-up with 145kW, while a 2.0 litre turbocharged NX is due to arrive early next year.

Volvo added another option to its hot Polestar range in Australia this week, with the arrival of the V60 Polestar wagon.

As part of an update for 2015, the wagon arrives with a starting price $3000 higher than the sedan at $102,990 plus on-roads.

Features for 2015 in both sedan and wagon include larger wheels (now 20-inch), a new tyre package, suspension and steering refinements and a recalibrated transmission.
