The Week That Was: New Mazda3 Reviewed; V-Class, 4 Series GC Revealed

Mazda’s all-new Mazda3 finally arrived in Australian showrooms this week, with six variants available from launch.

Two petrol engines are available in 2.0 litre or 2.5 litre four-cylinder capacities, matched to either a six-speed manual of six-speed automatic transmission.

Volkswagen unveiled its updated light Polo range this week, with subtle styling tweaks, new features and upgraded engines for 2014.

European customers will get six engine options including two three-cylinder diesel units, while the Polo GTI will be given a power boost - and reportedly a manual transmission - for 2015. 

The rest of the updated Polo range is due to hit Australian showrooms in the second half of this year.
