The updated model also features revised steering, and the SS V Redline performer gets steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters with the automatic transmission.
Pricing remains steady across the range, aside from a $300 increase for the Calais V.
Nissan’s X-Trail SUV is now available with a diesel engine in Australia, priced from $35,380 plus on-roads.
The X-Trail Diesel offers both manual and CVT automatic transmissions, in 4WD-only for the former and 2WD-only for the latter.
Power comes from the smaller Qashqai SUV’s 96kW/320Nm 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine, replacing the 2.0 litre unit from the outgoing model.
