Suzuki Launches Alto Turbo RS… But Only In Japan
The Suzuki Alto may have departed Australian shores and passed the baton to its replacement, the Celerio, but in Japan the nameplate survives in the form of an even tinier five-door hatch. And now there's a sporty model, dubbed the Alto Turbo RS.

And now there's a sporty model, dubbed the Alto Turbo RS.
Previewed as a "concept" at the start of this year at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Suzuki Alto Turbo RS will now be sold as a production car to Japanese customers at a price equivalent to AUD$13,880.
The Alto Turbo RS is powered by a 47kW 660cc turbocharged petrol inline three. Peak torque is a very modest 98Nm, and power goes to the front wheels via a five-speed automated manual gearbox with paddle shifters.
