Suzuki Confirms Ignis SUV For Australia In 2017

Suzuki Australia has this week announced that the Ignis SUV is set to arrive in Australian showrooms from the first quarter of 2017, joining an already burgeoning small SUV line-up that includes the Jimny, S-Cross, and Vitara.

The Ignis will act as something of an SUV counterpart to the Swift, but with slightly smaller dimensions. It rides on a wheelbase that’s 5mm longer, but with an overall length 150mm less, and a width of 35mm less than the Swift, while standing 85mm taller (based on overseas specifications).
