SRT Viper TA Track Special Revealed Ahead Of New York

Chrysler’s SRT performance arm has released details of a new Time Attack (TA) version of its mighty Viper sports coupe, ahead of its public debut at this month’s New York Auto Show.

Blending elements of the existing SRT and GTS Viper models, the track-focused TA is designed to trounce the outgoing C6 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for outright US muscle car track supremacy.

In fact, the TA has already proven itself with US mag Motor Trend eclipsing the ZR1’s Laguna Seca Raceway 1:33.70 production car lap record with a 1:33.62 lap time.
