Spanish carmaker SEAT has rolled out a third new concept in its 'IB' range. The new sedan concept, dubbed IBL, was leaked to the European press this week.

Its emergence follows the 2010 debut of the IBE electric vehicle hatch concepts.

Details for the new concept remain a secret for now, although Spanish newspaper ABC reports that the concept rides on a 2710mm wheelbase and measures 4670mm long.

If those figures are correct, the IBL could represent a successor to the current European-market Exeo sedan - essentially a facelifted version of the previous-generation Audi A4.

Whether the IBL will go into production is unclear, with last year's IBE concepts yet to make a transition to SEAT showrooms.

Long absent from the Australian market, SEAT soldiers on in Europe under the auspices of parent company Volkswagen.

Watch for the IBL to make its debut at this week's Frankfurt Motor Show.
