American performance car upstart Renovo Motors has revealed its first-ever model, simply called the Renovo Coupe.
While Renovo admits (and boasts) that its new creation is basically a Shelby Daytona Coupe lookalike, the new US carmaker says that’s where the similarities end.
The Renovo Coupe is powered only by an electric motor producing ‘over 500 BHP’ (over 373kW), while available torque is an impressive 1356Nm.
Put all that power and torque to the ground, and the Coupe will hit 100km/h from rest in 3.4 seconds, on its way to a top speed somewhere beyond 200km/h.
The Coupe will travel up to 160km on a single charge, but owners need wait only 30 minutes for a ‘quick charge’ at that point before hitting the road again. A full charge takes around five hours.
