Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Birthday Special Heading To Goodwood

Peugeot has confirmed it will unveil a special 30th anniversary edition of its new 208 GTi at next week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

Based on the new hot hatch that hit Australia nearly a year ago, the new special is expected to follow a powered-up path similar to that taken with the RCZ R that first appeared as a Goodwood concept.

Reports of a souped-up 208 GTi have been circulating for some time, and rumours last year suggested that Peugeot has been toying with the potential for a more powerful version of the pocket rocket.
