Nissan will unveil a new concept at this month’s Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, the carmaker confirmed earlier this month.

Details on the new concept remain cloudy, but a second new teaser image released today shines a little more sun on what's to come.

It is clear from this preview image that the concept will be yet another crossover or SUV, the style forming a major focus of Nissan’s range.

The shadowy SUV seen here suggests an update to the Extrem concept revealed at the Sao Paulo show back in 2012, suggesting a production debut for the sporty crossover could be on the cards.

This might also point to the Xtrem as an eventual replacement for the popular Juke, which first appeared as the Qazana concept at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.

This latest concept wears a less polarising look, however, with a more conventional headlight design and Nissan’s familiar ‘V’ grille design dominating the front end.
