Mitsubishi Launches 30th Anniversary Models

Mitsubishi has announced a full range of new special-edition models, released to celebrate the Japanese Automaker's 30th year in Australia.

Mitsubishi has announced a full range of new special-edition models, released to celebrate the Japanese Automaker's 30th year in Australia.

30th anniversary versions of the Lancer, ASX, Outlander, Triton, Pajero and Challenger are on offer, and feature more luxury equipment and minor cosmetic enhancements.

Lancer

The 30th Anniversary Edition Lancer is based on the VR model grade, and adds leather seats, front seat heaters, a powered driver's seat, privacy glass and a chrome boot accent.

ASX

Based on the entry-level ASX 2WD, the 30th Anniversary Edition ASX is equipped with Bluetooth, leather upholstery, a powered driver's seat, heated front seats, a unique body kit, 17-inch alloys and privacy glass.

Outlander

Available in either 2WD or 4WD configuration, the Outlander 30th Anniversary edition gets all the standard features of the LS model, plus 18-inch alloys, foglamps, privacy glass, a proximity key, Bluetooth, leather upholstery, heated front seats and a reversing camera.

Challenger

Also available as a 2WD or 4WD is the 30th Anniversary Challenger. The special-edition Challenger gets side and curtain airbags as standard, as well as a reversing camera.

Privacy glass and foglamps are standard, as is climate control, an eight-speaker stereo system and audio controls on a leather-trimmed steering wheel.

Triton

Built on the range-topping 4x4 GLX-R is the Triton 30th Anniversary Edition.

Besides receiving all of the standard features of the GLX-R, the special-edition Triton also gets leather seats, a leather-trimmed centre console lid, a powered driver's seat and an eight-speaker sound system.

Pajero

The 30th Anniversary Edition Pajero scores the MMCS sat-nav system, voice-operated controls, a 12-speaker 850-watt audio system, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, reversing camera, a chrome radiator grille, silver roof rails and privacy glass.

It also receives the same standard features as the Pajero GLX, upon which it is based.
