Mercedes-Benz has used social media to give its followers a second glimpse of the new Maybach coupe ahead of its official unveiling at the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach, California.

The first teaser showed fans a side profile silhouette of the new car, and the latest pics adds a front-on profile.

A large grille dominates the front styling, complete with Maybach naming and an upright three-point Mercedes-Benz star on the bonnet.

There’s also ultra-slim headlamps which may or may not debut some new tech for Mercedes, along with pin-stick rear-view mirrors which are almost certainly apertures for rear-view cameras.

Besides that, Mercedes is revealing little about its new coupe, and the project doesn’t even have an official name (simply '6' is the hot tip) at this stage.

Previously, fans learned that the coupe is over six metres long, and rumours point to a likely 12-cylinder powerplant as seen in the Maybach S 600 sedan.

All will be revealed in the coming days - stay tuned to TMR for more.
