Mercedes-Benz has brought its Ener-G-Force rendering to life as a new concept, destined for an unveiling next week's LA Auto Show.
Revealed as an illustrated entry for the event's '2025 Patrol Car' design challenge, Mercedes hints that the Ener-G-Force could preview a next-generation G-Class model.
"The Ener-G-Force is the vision of an off-roader that, while reflecting tomorrow’s adventures, also invokes the genes of the Mercedes-Benz off-road icon, the G model," Mercedes-Benz design boss Gorden Wagener said.
"Modern and cool, it could also be a clue about a new beginning for the off-road design idiom of Mercedes-Benz."
The concept was penned by designer Hubert Lee, who cites the original G-Class as the driving force behind the Ener-G-Force's proportions and finer details.
"We wanted to take a clear step forward, but we also wanted the G’s characteristic features," Lee said.
