Mercedes-Benz GLE-Teasing Concept Coupe SUV Revealed

The Mercedes-badged rival to BMW's X6 'sports activity coupe' has been given an official unveiling in Beijing this week, hours after a series of leaked images surfaced online.

The show car, known as the Concept Coupe, is expected to march to production with an 'MLC' badge, entering the Mercedes range alongside the large 'ML' M-Class range. 

The new model was first teased back in 2011 when Mercedes confirmed plans for a new US-built sports SUV, along with a 2015 production deadline.
