Mazda 1.5 Diesel Confirmed For New 2

MAZDA2 1.5 DIESEL CONFIRMED

Mazda has confirmed that its new 1.5 litre Skyactiv-D diesel engine, revealed with the Hazumi concept in March, is bound for production.

As expected, the new mill will figure among the engine options of the next-generation Mazda2, although it is likely that Europe and Japan will be the only markets to see this new combination.

Australian buyers however could see the compact new diesel offered with the larger Mazda3 in a model positioned below the upcoming XD Astina model.
