Maserati's Australian distributor Ateco has announced the release this week of the GranCabrio Sport, topping the two-car GranCabrio range.
Powered by the same 4.7 litre V8 that drives the GranTurismo MC Stradale, the GranCabrio Sport offers 331kW and 510Nm of torque.
Paired with the six-speed MC Auto Shift transmission, Maserati claims the GC Sport will hit 100km/h in 5.2 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 285km/h.
In Sport form, the GC gains Maserati's Skyhook active suspension system, along with a high-performance brake package.
On the styling front, the Sport sports a front lip and new side skirts, along with smoked headlamps and white side markers.
Arriving in Australia after its international unveiling last July, the GranCabrio Sport is priced at $338,000 (plus on-roads), marking a $10,000 premium over the regular GranCabrio.
