Indian automaker Mahindra has backed its sole SUV with improved after sales support, through an extended warranty program for its XUV500 medium SUV.
In a bid to boost sales, Mahindra has bolstered the XUV500’s previous three-year, 100,000-kilometre warranty with a new five-year limited guarantee including five years roadside assistance and three years capped price servicing.
The improved warranty isn't as clear-cut as it might seem at first glance though, with the same three-year, 100,000-kilometre warranty as before, and an added two years on top covering the diesel engine and Aisin-sourced automatic transmission.
