Rendered images of the upcoming Koenigsegg One:1 hypercar have appeared online, reportedly leaked out of China this week.
Of course, evelopment of the Koenigsegg One:1 is still ongoing, so the finished product won’t necessarily be a mirror image of these renderings.
But, according to enthusiast site GT Spirit, a number of key details on the new car have also come to light.
Firstly - and it won't surprise you to learn - the new model's name, One:1, is understood to be a reference to the hypercar's power-to-weight ratio (one horsepower per kilogram).
While we don’t yet know what the One:1 weighs, it’s fair to say that the twin-turbo 5.0 litre V8 developed in-house by Koenigsegg will produce more than the 716kW for the base Koenigsegg Agera or the 850kW for the Agera R.
As for the body, the One :1 will feature typically radical Koenigsegg styling, including a carbon-fibre air-scoop on the roof, a massive rear wing and even carbon-fibre wheels.
The new body is expected to produce significant amounts of down-force, with the One:1 potentially capable of a top speed beyond 430km/h.
Keep watching TMR for more details and images of the Koenigsegg One:1 soon.
