Jeep has recalled its Cherokee SUV in Australia this week, due to a potential problem with the seat fasteners.
The carmaker said the seat fastener may not have been tightened to specification during manufacturing.
If so, there could be an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants during a collision.
A total of 61 units are on the recall list in Australia, consisting of Jeep Cherokees from model-years 2014 through to this year.
The recall process will involve an inspection of the seat fastener, which will be retightened to specification if required. All works will be carried out at no cost to owners.
The Cherokee was also recalled in Australia last month on two occasions. The first was for potential wheel spat problems, while the second targeted a potential wiring loom problem.
Jeep will attempt to contact affected owners shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about the latest round of recalls should contact their local dealer or phone Fiat Chrysler Australia on 1300 133 079.
