Hyundai HB20 Bound For Brazil

Hyundai has unveiled its Brazilian market-only HB20 to tackle the hotly-contested small car market there.

Designed for the unique needs of Brazilian customers, the five-door HB20 - Hyundai Brazil 20 - will be built in the carmaker's new Priacicaba plant.

"For Hyundai, the launch of HB20 means a lot more than simply presenting a new model," Chang Kyun Han, President of Hyundai Motors Brazil said.

"Unlike our other models currently offered in Brazil, HB20 is the first model strategically developed and produced exclusively for the Brazilian market."

Based on the i20, the HB20 is available with two flex-fuel engines to cope with Brazil's very-high ethanol fuel.
