Honda To Preview China-bound Spirior Sedan At Beijing Auto Show

Honda will use this month’s Beijing Auto Show to reveal an early concept version of a new ‘Spirior’ sedan destined for the Chinese market.

Developed together with Chinese partner Dongfeng Honda, the concept has been previewed in a stylised sketch released today.

Details for the new show car are still to be confirmed, although it appears likely the concept will evolve the look of the ‘C’ sedan revealed at the Beijing event back in 2012.

Like that earlier concept, this new sedan will feature a coupe-like profile and a bold face that draws on the styling of Honda’s latest models.

A global launch for the concept’s eventual production version has not been confirmed, but with the ‘Spirior’ name already worn by the Accord Euro in China, we may yet see a new Euro model hit global markets.
