Former Ford President and Jaguar ‘Saviour’ Nick Scheele Dies, Aged 70

Former Ford President and Chief Operating Officer Nick Scheele has died at the age of 70.

British-born Scheele served in a variety of positions for the Blue Oval around the world, including a stint as CEO of Jaguar from 1992 until 1999.

Scheele was then installed as Chairman of Ford Europe during 2000 and 2001, before serving out his time with Ford as COO until 2005.

He started his career with Ford 1966, and began his move into the ‘big time’ as President of Ford Mexico in 1988.
