In North America Ford has launched the Omnicraft brand supplying replacement parts for non-Ford vehicles.

To be sold by Ford and Lincoln dealers, the Omnicraft brand kicks-off with an inventory of 1,500 most commonly requested parts such as oil filters, brake pads, brake discs, starter motors, alternators and loaded struts, with plans to grow to more than 30 automotive parts categories and 10,000 parts.

Ford says the Omnicraft brand gives owners of non-Ford vehicles certainty in parts quality and competitive pricing plus the confidence of fitment and service by factory trained technicians at a local Ford dealership.

“Omnicraft is a significant benefit to any vehicle owner who needs parts or to have their vehicle serviced,” according to the president of the Global Ford Customer Service Division, Frederiek Toney.

“Now, owners of non-Ford vehicles have access to quality parts at a competitive price, backed by Ford and installed by Ford’s world-class certified technicians.”

Omnicraft is the first all-new brand launched by the Ford Customer Service Division in 50 years and will bring incremental business into dealerships, providing an additional revenue stream and an opportunity to tackle franchised non-genuine vehicle cervice centres.

The historic Ford Motorcraft brand for genuine Ford parts continues unchanged.
